Calathea 'White Fusion'
Calathea leitzei 'Fusion White'Common Name: Peacock Plant, Zebra Plant, Prayer Plant
USDA Hardiness Zones: 11-12 (Outdoors).
Description
Calathea White Fusion is a magnificent and highly valued house plant for its incredible coloring. Their large, glossy, leaves features contrasting white markings alongside the green, and the underside has a pretty light purple-pinkish hue that also runs down the stems. It has been given the nickname 'peacock plant' for good reason. Native to the tropical Americas, many of the species are popular as pot plants due to their decorative leaves and, in some species, colorful inflorescence. This Calathea is considered a queen of “prayer plants”, plants from the family Marantaceae, but also a bit of a drama queen. Calathea White Fusion is not too difficult to care for, but it tends to be a bit finicky. If you find the right spot in your home for Calathea White Fusion, it will be the showpiece of your indoor plant collection.
This plant is pet and children safe.
