Any order placed with Plant Me Green may be cancelled prior to shipping from our warehouse. Once the plant is shipped, all sales are final; there are no refunds. This being said, customer satisfaction is still our goal. Every potted plant we sell is covered by a conditional one-time replacement guarantee. If your potted plant fails to survive the transplant process, we will replace it within one year from the date of purchase as long as its condition may be reasonably and fairly attributed to us. The customer is responsible for choosing a plant suitable for the climate in which it will be grown and following the planting guidelines that are outlined in the Plant Me Green brochure which is included in each shipment and/or can be found on our website. Plants purchased outside the recommended USDA growing zone are not covered by the replacement policy. Zones are posted on each product page. In the event of multiple claims or excessive losses, we may require a soil test to determine soil compatibility problems. 

**Please note: You will need to give the plant adequate time to get established before a replacement can be sent. Transplant shock and dormant material can take 30-60 days (or more) to show signs of life.**


BARE ROOT TREE REPLACEMENT POLICY

Bare root plants are not covered by the replacement policy. We will offer a one-time credit of 50% of your original order price to be put toward the purchase of replacement trees. You can either choose bare root or potted plants. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid prior to sending the replacement plant.


Replacement orders, including credit for bare root orders, do not qualify for any type of discounted shipping. Our guarantee covers the cost of replacing the plant. Shipping prices will be determined by the shipping carrier. Our replacement policy does not cover damage from animals, human error, extreme weather damage, over-watering, drought, insects, poor soil conditions and/or your gardening abilities. If you have questions concerning the proper care of your plant, please contact Plant Me Green. We will be more than willing to assist you to make your planting experience a success. It is always advisable to protect your newly planted plants for the first few years, especially if it is an extremely cold winter. Extra water is required in an extremely hot summer.

All requests for replacement will require at least two pictures. One picture of the ailing plant showing the results of a scratch test and a second picture of the ground surrounding the base of the ailing plant. Please send the pictures to info@plantmegreen.com.

If for any reason the same plant is not available, a credit equal to the purchase price of the ailing plant may be applied to another plant of your choice. Any difference in price is the responsibility of the customer. The replacement plant would be sent to you when the plant was available. A potted plant can be replaced all year round. Bare root orders can only be shipped when they are dormant which is approximately December thru March, weather permitting.

Please note: If you paid shipping on the your original order, we do not issue credit for shipping that has already occurred; we only issue a credit for the plant(s) itself. Replacement plants do not come with a guarantee-- they are replacement plants from the original order. 

If your order is damaged during shipping, we need to be contacted within 48 hours of you receiving the damaged package. In order to make a claim, we will need picture documentation. We ask that you take at least 2 pictures of the damaged box on the outside and at least 2 pictures of the damaged plant on the inside. Please send the pictures to info@plantmegreen.com. Once we receive the pictures we can make an assessment of the damage. We will do our best to correct the issue. Broken branches are cosmetic and should be pruned.

EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE, PLANT ME GREEN, LLC DOES NOT MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY, REGARDING ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED FROM PLANT ME GREEN, LLC, AND PLANT ME GREEN, LLC SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL SUCH WARRANTIES. THE REMEDIES SET FORTH ABOVE CONSTITUTE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU. PLANT ME GREEN, LLC SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN AN AMOUNT GREATER THAN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF ANY PLANT. THE TERMS OF OUR GUARANTEE MAY CHANGE AT PLANT ME GREEN, LLC'S DISCRETION AND PLANT ME GREEN, LLC HOLDS THE RIGHT TO DENY ANY CLAIMS THAT DO NOT MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS SET ABOVE.
