How to Plant
STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
Recieved two pecan trees from Plant Me Green.
They came fast and well packed.
Great size and healthy as well, unlike some other companies.
Would order again.
Very responsive. Trees arrived to my nephew earlier than I expected. When there was a delivery mix up the Plant Me Green resolved it. I have a happy nephew for his birthday.
The dormant tree arrived in wonderful packaging! Unpacked the tree from the shipping carton, took the tree from the container and am immediately concerned with the tight circled roots. Instead of planting the root bound tree in the ground, I have planted the tree in a fifteen gallon fabric pot, with a quality potting medium, and hopefully giving the trees' roots a little grow room will encourage enough new growth for successful placement in my yard in about a year.
Delivered in good shape, but after being potted into the ground, branches are falling off. Yes, it's been hot in our area , but it is watered daily and root stimulator was added. It is not looking good after a week of being potted in. What are we doing wrong?
Trees are growing and arrived in great shape!
