Climax blueberries are a medium-sized, dark blue berry which ripen in late spring and early summer. These rabbiteye berries are perfect for eating fresh, cooking, baking, drying, or freezing. It grows 3-15 feet tall and 3-10 feet wide and should be planted in full sun with sandy to loamy soil. It needs a pollinator such as Tifblue or Austin. Climax blueberries require 400-450 chill hours.

How to Plant
STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
Came in good shape. Already in the ground watching the berries ripening
The blueberry bushes arrived in great condition. A couple of the bushes had small berries on them. They were packaged with great care. You have excellent workers who are doing a great job!
I was expecting a smaller blueberry bush in halfway decent shape after shipping and what I got was amazing. It was this huge bush in great shape with blueberries already covering it. Not to mention the bush was about as big as I am. I was very amazed and will be ordering again.
I'm very pleased with this order! The bushes were healthy and bigger than I expected. Shipping was fast and the plants were packaged carefully.
Ordered Climax, Powder Blue and Brightwell blueberry plants. Extremely happy with the service and the plants. Will order more.
