Bare Root Pecans

We have 30 varieties of potted and bare root pecan trees.

We are now taking orders for bare root pecan trees, for the 2016-2017 season. Your bare root pecan orders will begin to ship the last week in December or the first week of January.  Pre-orders will ship out in the order they are received.  If you have a volume order (over 25 bare roots) please call Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 EST at (850) 270-0511 or toll free at (855) 817-5268 and ask to speak with Richard Roccanti.  We should begin harvesting this year the 2nd week of Dec. and begin shipping the 3rd week of Dec. and continue shipping in Jan, Feb and mid March, 2017.

Bare root plants are dormant plants with exposed roots. These plants are grown in the field and then removed from the soil when dormant. When planted in a new location, bare root plants will adapt more quickly to new soil conditions.

Pecans are one tree that is very popular in bare root. Plant Me Green will begin to ship bare root pecans a little before or a little after Christmas 2016. Since we only have a limited amount of bare root pecans, please consider pre-ordering for bare root season as early as possible. Order online 24/7 starting now or call us during normal business hours ( M-F between 9 am and 5 pm ) and ask for Richard Roccanti (Mr. R.).
