Apple Trees - Cameo

Malus domestica 'Cameo'
USDA Hardiness Zones: 5-8

Renowned for its unique qualities, this tree boasts an abundance of crisp, juicy and aromatic apples with a distinct flavor profile that is a delightful combination of sweet and tart. The Cameo apple tree showcases beautiful foliage with its elongated, ovate leaves that are a luscious shade of green, providing an eye-catching pop of color when they rustle in the breeze. Growing to a mature height of about 15 ft. this compact tree is perfect for smaller spaces or container planting. Hardy in growing zones 4 to 8, it thrives in various climates and ensures a bountiful harvest year after year. The apple tree grows best in full Sun, slightly acidic and loamy soil and needs another apple tree to cross pollinate. We recommend Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Suncrisp, Wolf River or a Centennial Crabapple. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy these delectable apples straight from your own backyard with the Cameo apple tree.

How to Plant
STEP 1) First, decide on a planting location. Consider carefully what kind of sun, soil, and growing-space your tree or shrub will need.
STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
