The Methley Plum is a vigorously growing plum tree that will provide plenty of plums for you, your friends and family to eat during the summer. How to Plant
STEP 2) Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting.
STEP 3) Remove the plant from the pot and place the root ball in the hole. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system.
STEP 4) Once the plant is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material.
STEP 5) Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets.
STEP 6) When finished, water thoroughly.
Two trees shipped separately. One arrived a day late due to delivery truck issue. Tree was heat stressed but has now recovered. Second tree arrived looking great. Both trees are thriving.
I have been orfering trees on line for years. I also get just a stick with no branches. These were actual healthy looking full figured trees!! I am sticking with these guys!
Tree came quickly and in good health! Looking forward to some plums!
Methley was planted 2 weeks ago even though he arrived late (3 days) and pretty beat up. He had 2 broken limbs and most of the dirt in the pot wasn't around his root ball I planted him anyway and is making a good recovery with new growth showing. I am satisfied with this tree and the hardiness at the recovery Methley is making.
this was a second order for me. I ordered nearly two dozen trees of various kinds in my first order. The service was excellent and trees arrived timely and in good condition. Some were taller than expected and they are all in the ground. I expect to order more in the fall.
