This Calathea concinna, also commonly called Calathea 'Freddie', comes with soft green leaves with uniquely shaped shades. Its light green leaves are striped with dark green veins in a zebra-like pattern, giving it a striking appearance. Any plant lover would be crazy to not want this magnificent plant in their collection! Not only is it a real looker, but the Calathea concinna also has an awesome habit. It opens and closes in the morning and at night. Almost like it awakens and goes to bed, just like us!

Calathea concinna "Freddie" loves an extra burst of humidity and is a great choice for beginners. Use potting soil mixed with peat moss to create the perfect well draining environment for Freddie. It is unusual for Calathea to bloom indoors, but Freddie will reward you with very sweetly scented white blooms in the springtime under just the right conditions

Big healthy plant

Very satisfied with price, shipping time and packaging. Plant has been in quarantine and no signs of pest or damage from pests. Plant was larger than I expected.
