Description

Native to central and South America, the Money Tree is a braided tree that can grow up to 6-8 feet indoors or be trained as a bonsai. In east Asia, the Money Tree is often used by those who practice Feng Shui to bring positive "Chi", or energy, into the room, thus being a popular housewarming gift. On top of that, it is a hardy plant that requires relatively low maintenance. It can tolerate direct sunlight, but prefers bright indirect light, lots of water, and warm temperatures. 

This plant is pet and children safe.

Most orders ship USPS with the packing methods pictured below. Larger orders may ship FedEx. *Please note that we have additional packing procedure for tall, big, and multiple plants. Tall/ big plants are stabilized with a wooden stick and shipped using special inserts that lock in houseplants.  

Care Guide

Native to Central and South America and often found in wetlands and on river banks, owing to its name (Pachira Aquatica) loves moist soil. Though, its origins are damp areas, water is not a must to keep this plant thriving. This trait makes the Money Tree an ideal houseplant for beginners. Pachira Aquatica are tolerant of a wide variety of lighting conditions, and will happily grow in lower light if need be. Best started off young, they make for a tasteful tabletop specimen that in time will grow tall with an average indoor height of around 6 ft.
