- The Leyland Cypress is a fast-growing evergreen tree with a pyramidal shape. The tree's dense growth and tall height make it a great choice for creating a border shade that will block unwanted sights and reduce neighborhood noise. Besides its utility, this evergreen is nice to look at with feathery soft, textured leaves. The tree grows 3 to 4 feet per year and reaches a height of about 60-70 feet and a spread of 15-25 feet. The Leyland is drought tolerant and hardy in Zones 6-10. The Leyland should be planted in full sun but can tolerate most types of soil, as long as they are well-drained. Once planted, prune for the first few years in order to encourage dense growth. USDA ZONES:Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9, Zone 10

-The Pond Cypress is a deciduous conifer often found on the peripheries of ponds and lakes. It is very similar in form and habit to the bald cypress. At maturity it can reach a height of 30-70 feet with a spread of 15 to 20 feet. The bark is gray-brown to red-brown. The foliage turns orange-brown in the fall. USDA ZONES: Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone, 7, Zone 8, and Zone 9.USDA ZONES:Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9, Zone 10

-The 'Red Sunset' Red Maple has the outstanding ornamental characteristic of brilliant orange to red fall color lasting several weeks. 'Red Sunset' red maple is often one of the first trees to color up in autumn, and it puts on one of the most brilliant displays of any tree. The tree makes the best growth in wet or moist places and has no particular soil texture preference. Once maturity has been reached the “Red Sunset” red maple should range from 45 to 50 feet tall, and a spread anywhere’s from 25 to 40 feet. USDA ZONES: Zone 4, Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone 7, & Zone 8.

- The Live Oak is a large, strong, and stately evergreen that has become a staple of the American South. This fast-growing oak can reach a height of 40-80 feet with a spread between 60-100 feet. With its height and spread, live oaks make for great shade trees. While the Live Oak is very adaptable, it does require a large area for its spreading trunk to be accommodated. With enough room to grow, however, Live Oaks give one's yard a sense of establishment and history. The wood of the Live Oak is hard, tough, and strong, and the tree also produces sweet, edible acorns. It is hardy to about 5 degrees (Zones 7-10). Live Oaks can survive for centuries and planting one is a small task that can leave a large gift for future generations. USDA ZONES:Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9, Zone 10
Most PlantMeGreen trees can be shipped and planted any time of year, unless the variety is specified as only seasonal delivery. Packages are typically shipped within 7-10 days from the time of your order. You will receive a tracking email upon confirmation of your PlantMeGreen purchase. On some occasions, severe weather and other unusual issues can delay shipping and delivery of your PlantMeGreen package. Delivery time cannot be guaranteed, if a package needs to arrive prior to a specific date, or at a more convenient time for you, please notate that upon placement of your order.
First, decide on a planting location. Consider carefully what kind of sun, soil, and growing-space your tree or shrub will need. Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system. Once the tree is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material. Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets. When finished, water thoroughly. To insure your plants a successful growth rate and productive life, plant your seedlings per the instructions included in your PlantMeGreen package.
