If your order only contains bare root trees, it will ship in the order it was received, after the tree harvest. Thank you!
First, decide on a planting location. Consider carefully what kind of sun, soil, and growing-space your tree or shrub will need. Once you've located the perfect spot, the hole you are digging must be at least double the width and as deep as the root system you are planting. The top of the root system should be level with the ground. Before placing the tree or shrub in the hole, use your hands to gently break up the root system. Once the tree is in place, backfill the hole with native soil and any leftover potting material. Pack down the soil to eliminate any air pockets. When finished, water thoroughly. To insure your plants a successful growth rate and productive life, plant your seedlings per the instructions included in your PlantMeGreen package.
Plant persimmon trees in full sun to partial shade and in moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly after planting, until tree is established. Persimmon trees need about 40 inches of water every year. Persimmons only need pruning if limbs are crossing or in order to control the tree's size.

Persimmon Trees - Nikita's Gift (Astringent)

Tree was in good form and large when it arrived.

Nikita parsimmon

Quick delivery. Good quality tree

Terribly Spiralling roots

I’m so disappointed. Spiraling roots are evidence of being container-grown for too long. What little material there was of these poor roots were badly circling.

Hello Marisa, We are so terribly sorry this plant was sent to you. We have procedures in place to try and eliminate this from happening but it sounds as though this tree slipped through the cracks. We will be happy to ship you another if you so wish. Please reach out to customer service at to get your replacement tree. Sincerely, Plant Me Green
From Robert's Berry and Fruit Patch

I was very pleased to receive two well-packaged and healthy nice size plants. I treated them with great care and planted them in excellent soil and have continued to ensure they have the right amount of water. I applied a nice layer of 3 year old mulch which will provide both moisture protection and added nutrients next Spring. I am looking forward to next Spring and seeing these plants getting established and excelling in growth! Thank you Plant Me Green!
